The park says this trail is a .6 mile loop. It is a .6 mile point to point or a 1.7 mile loop starting at the park office and taking the Point Trail down to either end of Loop 8. It can be combined with Loop 9, Loop 7 and the Point Trail. Up and down, great views. Big trees, big bugs and views of Cub Creek.

Some nice views of Cub Creek. Lots of big trees. I saw four deer but before I could get the camera out of my pocket the family moved on at a high rate. This trail has a lot of up and down but it is only a few feet.
