Jamestown Island Trail is a 1.5 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Williamsburg, Virginia that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
A very easy trail, paved and level all the way. There is a three mile loop and a five mile loop to choose from. Mostly wooded or marsh. Bring insect repellent in season.
Hot in the summer, take water, good trail
Very busy but nice.
I did this loop and the other one about a month ago. I saw two large deer. The forrest and the wetlands are great. A short side trek takes you out to the big river. (James River) The only thing I did not like was sharing the trail with so many bikes and cars.
