I just moved to the area and found this trail. A nice trail and was an enjoyable walk for my dog.
Nice trail. 4 miles of flat, 2-track trails. Some spur trails were fun to bike but others just end at a bench overlooking the river.
Fun mountain bike trip (though HOT) with some variety, easy to get confused but too small to get lost.
Very nice hiking, biking and birding trail. Has a wonderful restored historical settlement with actors (usually) and a gift shop. Trail loops along the James River.
Also a large wetlands area on property which is a breeding ground for many varieties of ducks in the early spring when water is high. Very enjoyable and quite popular.
