Henley Hollow Trail is a 11 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Speedwell, Virginia that features a waterfall. The trail is rated as moderate and primarily used for hiking, horses, and mountain biking. Dogs and horses are also able to use this trail.
Trail follow are creek then climbs up to the ridge of Iron Mountain near Horse Heaven. Trail ends at the Horse Trail. Nice trail that follows a creek then winds up the mountain past a very small but nice waterfall and up onto the ridge line ending at the horse trail. Estimated 6 mile round trip. Little Dry Run Trailhead is just on the other side of the highway. You can do the 11 mile loop which connects three trails, the Highlands Horse Trail, Little Dry Run Trail, and Henley Hollow Trail.
About a 600 ft. Elevation change over the 2 mile point to point trail. Trail used for horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking. Trail ends at a junction with a horse trail.
