The first 0.8 miles are really nice, definitely what I thought this trail would be. Very scenic, crossing a few streams, pleasant. After that first stretch, the rest of the trail is literally all incline. We walked another 2 miles of incline and then turned around.
I enjoyed the trail you start at the road and work your way up the hollow crossing the creek multiple times and then you start doing the elevation going across the saddle backs until finally at the top unfortunately I ran out of time before I could find Red Oak Spring or Crawford knob
