Chesapeake City Park Trail is a 1.5 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Chesapeake, VA that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The park has both trails and a maze of sidewalks. Although the sidewalk loop is ADA, it is also out in the hot sun. The trail are still being developed and should be better next year. A park with a lot going on. But there are trails being developed and a lot of sidewalks.
Easy afternoon hike... Not so crowded but it is February.
Crowds, noise, a lot more sidewalks than trails, much of which is in the hot sun. The trail system is still being developed so we spent a lot of our time in the 95 degree hot sun. Aside from that, much of the park was nice and I will be back when they get the trails finished.
