Really fun ride. Also very close to home so it will be a regular for me!
Really fun ride once we discovered where the trail actually was. We went during December for the first time and had a very difficult time seeing the trail, but once we found it, it really was a fun ride. Also very close to me so it will be a regular for me!
Nice quick ride, close to home....2 mi to back of a fence, then turn around....good hills, but most mud gullys formed at bottom do to inefficient run off, will get better with no rain for a while. Agree with other review, if you can keep your speed up its a fun trail close to home. Doesn't beat Lake Maruy though...
Very nice trail. If you are hiking you will need to watch you step for roots crossing the trail. The trail ends in a weird place after 2 miles behind a government facility and you need to walk along the fence for about 200 ft before accessing the athletic fields, but would do this trail again. It is worth to hike.
Love this trail, right down the road from me, isn't exactly "hard" but you can have a lot of fun if you go fast and keep your speed up, lots of tight spots, I am at this trail all the time
The trail follows the lake for about 80% of the distance and then cuts back across the athletic fields. Although the trail never gets more than 15 feet above lake level it is a constant up and down, so I will give it a moderate rating instead of easy. It is a beautiful hike through the woods. If you have limited time, there are 8 places to bail out, (Marked A-H) The first 2 miles is a beautiful walk in the woods.
