Capital Crescent Trail/Georgetown Branch Interim Trail is a 11 mile point-to-point trail located near Arlington, Virginia and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for road biking and is accessible year-round.
Nice trail but crowded especially the Montgomery county section and especially on weekends. Many who live near the trail seems like treat the trail like an extension of their backyards while the rest of us are trying to get from point a to b or get some exercise. If walking or running be aware that bicycles share the trail. A better option for hikers/runners might be the C&O Trail which runs parallel to this trail for the first 2 or so miles out of Georgetown.
