Nice flat loop around lovely Burke Lake. This is a mixed use trail for walkers, hikers, runners and bicyclists. The trail runs from concrete to gravel to dirt and is well maintained.
Amazing trail for early morning bike ride
Great easy ride without too many hikers on the trail! Would encourage any riders to take a stroll since it appeals to all riders and has great views around the lake! looking forward to next time!
Best at the beginning of the Fall Season due to the beautiful colors (burnt orange, yellow and red) of the autumn leaves. Nice water views and well maintained trail year round.
I usually go from south run rec center, around the lake and back.
Bathrooms only at trailhead. Popular, even early. Otherwise, gorgeous!
A beautiful and easy walk around the lake. Beautiful in the spring and fall. Be sure to use the restrooms by the marina as there aren't any on the east side of the lake. Lots of other activities in the park as well, golfing, 18-hole disc golf course, mini train ride for kids and camping and picnic opportunities as well. Enjoy!
