Appalachian Trail: Jenkins Gap to Chester Gap is a 2.2 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Huntly, Virginia that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from April until October.
Great trail to hike, although can be quite strenuous on certain parts. Just hiked it twice this year in the summer and seen at least 5 black bears each time and other wildlife. Quite an awesome hike with the AT close by.
