This trail begins in Bennington as the Bald Mountain Trail and takes you over Bald Mountain (AKA: East Mountain) and on to Glastenbury Mountain. The distance for this hike is about 13.2 miles. You will need to spend the night at Glastenbury Mountain, unless you have the energy to hike out 14.4 miles to Route 9 in Woodford. You can also access the trail via Bear Wallow Trail in Woodford, VT.
