Huntington Gorge Trail is a 3.2 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Richmond, Vermont that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible from March until October.
Beautiful location and easy hike.
Warning to family's there is a area of the river where nude men hang out in the summer.
Huntington gorge is pure insanity! Awesome breathtaking views and gnarly cliff jumping! This is the best of Vermont's "off the beaten path". in the summer time there is no place i would rather be then climbing boulders, swimming under waterfalls and jumping off 20-30 ft platforms into pristine crystal clear mountain water!! This place can be very dangerous though make sure your down by the lower buckets as the upper gorge is only for viewing pleasure but swimming is not a good idea as the currents are heck strong and have been know to be deadly.....ahhhh Mother Nature u sexxy thing. Love this place!!! and these directions aren't right though... Ill update this with better directions if I can !!!
Very hard to find. Didn't know where it started or ended. No signs anywhere. After finally finding it, I found the trails to be very fun. Mountain bikers are able to go somewhat fast. It has some quick easy turns and drop offs which make it pretty fun. Very narrow trail though. Wouldn't recommend for an experienced mountain biker. This more for beginners and mid level riders.
