Windows Loop and Turret Arch Trail is a 1.2 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Moab, Utah that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and snowshoeing and is accessible year-round.
A short hike to a lovely arch with great views. Turret Arch is a beautiful free standing arch in the Windows area of Arches NP. The views over the area are exceptional. Follow the trail to the Windows, bearing right at the first intersection, and near the top of the ridge, leave the trail and go cross country to the Arch. There is good climbing for the kids and by going through the Arch a great view through Turret to the North Window and beyond. Also good views of the Cove of Caves and the Parade of Elephants.
Easy trail that climbs and loops to both windows. Meet the ranger just off the parking lot for a great guided tour. They talk about how the arches were formed and the plant life along the trails.
Good low and easy hike
Not as awe inspiring as other arches in the park, but amazing by any standard!
Worth the time, you get 3 great spot for the an relatively easy walk, most of this is paved if I can remember correctly. Gets extremely busy, like most places in this park go early or go late
It's easy hike, freaking hot but it was worth it, beautiful scenes to see, bring lots of water at least 2L. Por person I recommend the double wall containers 1L each
Kind of a crowded trail, but worth doing as you can get up close to the arches and can even walk behind them. The views are outstanding from here as well.
Crowded, but boy the views. Super easy, short walk. Bring lots of water!
Beautiful view, and a little tougher to reach than the nearby Windows - I mean like less than a football field away. Sit down, have a snack and enjoy it.
