Utah Highway 24 Scenic Byway: Loa to Hanksville is a 63.8 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Torrey, Utah that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for nature trips and scenic driving and is accessible year-round.
Many great outdoor recreational opportunities all along this route. Great views just for the drive.
Good road with gorgeous overlooks of Capitol reef and surrounding areas. Hard to beat.
Beautiful section of highway. Well maintained, trail access, and areas through Capital Reef are absolutely breathtaking. Residents in this area are lucky to get to drive this section of highway frequently!
One of the best drives in Utah.
One of my favorite scenic drives in Utah
My last trip on this road was in 2009. We stayed about a week in Torrey while we were exploring Capitol Reef NP. Lot of beautiful scenery!
