The Gulch to Lamanite Arch is a 19 mile out and back trail located near Boulder, UT and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible from April until October.
This is a brilliant canyon. We spent two nights by water canyon and hiked to Lamanite arch. It was April and we found water in most tributaries and in the gulch itself. The only downside is that, like much of the monument, this area is not protected from cattle and thus has less wildlife, wildflowers etc. The tributary that contains Lamainte arch is very beautiful and is also a total bushwhack.
