Just a bit shorter than Mahogany Mountain, the north peak has a lot to offer with easy access from the east side. Mahogany Mountain towers 4,000 feet above American Fork but blends into the foreground of the higher Mt. Timpanogos just behind. Just a bit shorter than Mahogany Mountain, the north peak is a lesser summit on the same mountain mass. With a basic trail and decent views it's worth an exploration.

We went 10 Sept 2016. The view is beautiful. Enjoyed the trail. This is my third time here.

Fun family hike. The dirt road getting to it is about 5.3 miles, and very rocky. Our SUV was barely sufficient. Definitely worth the views.

We set out to find a cache and found this neat trail along the way. After we found the cache we continued up he ridge line and got a few great pictures. This was a moderate hike and I was spent after it, could have been the fact that we had been hiking all over the area this day and this hike ended up being the last one.

This trail takes a little bit of time to get to, but it's a short hike with great views in all directions. There is some extra elevation in the middle as you go over a small hill. The trail fizzles out just short of the summit, but it's fairly easy to pick your way the last few hundred feet.
