Second tallest and tallest mountains in Sanpete County, and in the Wasatch Plateau, respectively. Tent Mountain, with the two different summits, is the tallest mountain in Sanpete County, Utah, and in the Wasatch Plateau. This is a fairly easy hike, with the biggest difficulties being that there is no set trail, meaning bushwhacking, and the altitude. Beautiful views of Skyline Drive, Horseshoe Mountain, Canal Canyon, Black Canyon, and the wide expanse of the Wasatch Plateau. We left Skyline Drive, followed the North Ridge line for North Tent. Summited North Tent, proceeded to the Second Summit, and then we dropped down about 300 feet in elevation to the saddle that sits between North and South Tent. Continued up the gentle slope to the summit of South Tent. Followed the same ridge back to the second summit of North Tent, and then made our way down the southwest face to Skyline Drive.
