Mount Peale Trail is a 6.2 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Moab, Utah that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
Start at the La Sal Pass. Follow the trail to a "Y" in the road, and took the left fork. Reach a point where the trail dissipates, climb a hill to the right to find the 4WD Jeep trail. Meet up with the Jeep trail, and follow this until the trail veers sharply left towards Tukuhnikivatz. Leave the Jeep trail, follow the trail cairns into the lower couloir. Follow the couloir above the treeline to the saddle. Follow the ridge to the summit. Follow the same route down, or summit Tukuhnikivatz as part of a circuit.
