Middle Trail to Buckskin Gulch is a 15.9 mile out and back trail located near Kanab, Utah and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is best used from April until October.
If you don't have time to do the entire gulch this is a great compromise. You get to see some of the best parts of Buckskin in one quick hike. The gulch is absolutely beautiful; so many colors and patterns. The walls are massive, they seem to reach to the sky forever. It's a humbling experience as it will remind you of how small we really are. You don't want to miss this one.
Completed upper and mid exiting wire canyon, what a wonderful hike
Middle Route to Buckskin Gulch was only a part of our hike.
We hiked from White House TH to Middle Route into the gulch, farther to the confluence of Buckskin Gulch and Paria River and upward to White House Th.
A very nice hike.
