Left Fork of North Fork is a 6.5 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Virgin, Utah and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is best used from May until October.
Most of this hike is through a riverbed. On a hot day, the river is refreshingly chill, making the climb more bearable. There's a pretty steep climb down initially, into the riverbed. The climb back up can be pretty grueling, especially in the heat, so make sure you have poles with you. It's very scenic and a great workout, recommended for those who are a little more adept at hiking distances.
