Paved trail to Jensen Park on the Fremont Trail Syracuse Trail System heading South Bound from Trailside park.
Good walking trails, but not a lot of shade.
Very pretty for man made walking area.
It's great for what it is: a pretty nature park to run laps around. There are lots of bugs in the Spring and Summer, but is really nice in the Fall, especially for running in the morning and evening.
The pond/park itself is nice, but the trail itself is not that great. You pass multiple farms, and the plants are not that much of a sight. However, the actual nature park is nice for fishing, walking, feeding the ducks, etc.
Fun little nature park in Syracuse. Great place to have a picnic and walk around the pond, or go feed the ducks, or do some fishing. Good little spot to enjoy some time with family
I am rating this high because we love the birds to see here. We see coots, ducks, pelicans, great blue herons, swallows, red winged black birds, yellow headed black birds, cormorants, and more.
Great place to take kids.
We also love exploring the water for frogs and other creepy crawlies.
It is a great place to take kids for a quick afternoon to feed the ducks as well. Though we did essentially get attacked in the winter and had to retreat to the car and throw the food out as they were obviously pretty hungry!
Nice flat paved nature walk
