The trail leaves the road a few hundred feet above the trail-head. It follows the east side of Silver Fork Canyon. At a trail junction just before the trail rejoins the road take the left fork. This trail climbs up but also heads back down the canyon for a few hundred feet before turning east and climbing up Honeycomb Canyon. The trail ends at the top of a pass at the top of the Summit Ski Lift

A wonderful hike. We followed the trail up to both mines and then took the ridge line up to Solitude boundary line on top of the Honeycomb Cliffs. It was a good scramble to the top from there. The views are amazing; you can see down both canyons and across at all the other awesome peaks.

This is quite a nice hike that we had to ourselves today. It starts out in Silver Fork Canyon then heads up Honeycomb Canyon. The trail is very good and easy to follow all the way to the summit where you can see the Some of the Solitude and Brighton Ski areas
