We hiked from the Route 24 trailhead. A very flat, easy 2.5 hour round trip through magnificent canyon narrows with a very convenient park toilet at the turn around point which for us was the parking area for those hiking in from the scenic drive end.
Quiet, flat easy trail. Great for a late evening walk.
Very nice flat hike between towering rocks. This wash is made from rushing rainwater but was very dry. We enjoyed beautiful wildflowers. As the day progressed, we passed more people. Good for children.
A completely relaxing hike through a canyon with impressive vertical walls. The kids had a great time here trying to find geodes (with surprising success) and generally just exploring everything they could. It's a great hike to just unwind and enjoy the scenery.
A gentle slope makes this trail easy. The narrows are not too far from the west end so you can go there and back to make a shorter hike. Nice hike in a wonderful national park.
Nice easy shady trail along the wash with huge canyon walls on either side. We connected this trail with Cassidy Arch.
Nice easy trail for just about anyone. Hiked it after a rainstorm yesterday which made the hike easier because the sand was still wet and also made the temperature cooler. The trail has quite a bit of shade in the morning.
This is an easy hike, good for some shade on a hot day.
Did a shorter section of this trail from the highway to the Capitol Reef parking lot that was a little over two miles. Overall a really neat canyon, definitely worth hiking if you're in the area. Probably the easiest hike we did while we were out in Utah, seeing as how you are just walking through the wash the entire time.
