Amazing views, and a well beaten path made this a great choice, and an easy hike for our whole family. It's ACTUALLY little more than a mile round-trip hike from the trailhead. It was easy for my 8 year old daughter.
Great hike for the family. Not hard at all. Beautiful views of the valley. The red rock is amazing. The trail can be a little wet from the water run off.
just perfect! gorgeous views... temperature was on point!
Nice hike, steep in places but fun.
This was a fun hike. The trail is actually only 0.6 miles one way, so just over 1 mile in to the falls and back. There are some steep edges in parts so you may want to hold younger children's hands, but they can easily maneuver the trail. Beautiful scenery along the way! Be sure to take pics! The waterfall is nice and large at the end of the trail, and you get to look over it from the top/side. Enjoy!!! :)
Good trail steep edges where you have to watch out for children. Cool waterfall coming out of a rock cavern at the end of the hike. A lot of great scenic views along the trail.
The trail is actually less than 2 miles out and back. There is a dirt road that leads to the trailhead which starts at a lookout where you can see Zion in the south. It's a beautiful trail. Moderate because there are a few places where it's a drop off so hood the little ones hands.
It was a nice trail with a gradual incline with spectacular views on occasion. Nice for a quick fitness walk with some scenery
Great scenery from high above zion...ends at a waterfall emerging from the cliff..nice short hike
It was great. Great view!! I love it
Easy 1 mile RT hike to falls. Most of the hike is on decent trail, though there are one or two very short sections that were slightly more challenging. Trail modulates up and down, mostly down to the falls themselves. Great views of the "Pink Cliffs". Wonderful views the entire way.
Nice trail for a quick family hike. Our 3 year old had no issues keeping up. The views of the canyon, and Zion in the background were beautiful.
Cascade Falls has always been a long time favorite of mine. It has nice areas through the forest, but also has spectacular views from the areas closer to the edge of the mountain on the trail. Although, as a kid this trail made me nervous, now it is always a breezy and very joyful walk. Sometime are busier than others, but if you have the time just sit and stay at the end of the trail near the falls. The view truly is breathtaking, and I love to just sit and take it all in.
Great short but sweet hike. This hike is on the markagunt plateau near Duck Creek Village. The trail head is a popular ATV destination, but the trail itself is walking only. The Virgin River Rim Trail (no ATVs) is nearby.
While the trail is short, it is built into the edge of a cliff and is a bit daunting for some.
Amazing cool waterfall that ends up forming main river through Zion to the south. Trail is well kept and fun for the whole family.
