White Rock Ramble is a 23.2 mile out and back trail located near Dallas, TX and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for road biking and canoeing and is accessible year-round.
Some of the trail is paved and some is packed gravel and dirt. It doesn't have a lot of scenic views because it goes through streets and under highways as you ride through the north side of Dallas. Walkers need to be aware of fast bikes and bikers need to be aware of family walkers. There are plenty of all types using this trail. This is level enough to take kids, but too long to take them far. Dogs are allowed with leashes. It can get muddy and high water in parts after a rain. Since it goes through urban areas, there is some trash around. This trail goes from park to park to park, so you can stop for a break, picnic or other park activities. Some parts are not shaded and it can get pretty hot in the summer.
