Does anyone know what the grave is all about? If so please tell me! Kinda spooky. Figured it's just a pet? Great trail. Nice place to take pops for his bday. Also a huge paw print. Print had to be a joke I posted in photos. Good place to clear your head:)
Great trail but a bit overgrown in the lower parts. I took 4 kids ranging from 6-12 and all made it great. The great at the end is superb. Very quick hike at just less than an hour with a few stops. Two very good views.
Great trail; good uphills, some cool water sections, great views. Would definitely do it again. Interesting enough to keep you on your toes, manageable enough to do in decent sneakers and shorts
Love this hiking trail. Good Climb and especially at this time of the year, It's full of beautiful scenic views.
Nice little trail 2.2 miles with okay views. Most likely you will be the only one there...
This trail has some hills and a nice little creek. There are a couple other trails connecting to it and you can get about 5 miles in if you use them all.
Overall three are 5 "trails" at this spot. My favorite two were the creek trail (0.5 m) and the rim rock trail (2.2 m). I am not an avid hiker by any means but like a good nature hike from time to time and this place fit my preferences completely! The trail runs along a small creek bed which surprisingly even at this time of year still had water in it. It also has shade spots, scenic views, and inclines/declines that required some stamina and coordination but weren't by any means difficult! There are 2 other trails on the outer part that, if you enjoy prairie walking in the scorching sun, are nice as well. Overall, I loved this place! It beautiful, secluded but close, and peaceful! Only wish I had found it sooner!!!
Nice overlook at the top of rim rock trail. Pretty short hike, not a lot to see.
it's nice because on your walk you wont run into people so its nice and secluded, but i don't recommend during drought.
