Took the kids here this past weekend. It was ok I guess. Not worth driving back to though. They unfortunately didn't have the waterfall going, which was the whole reason we went, so was kind of a waste of trip when we could have walked a trail closer to home.
It's a nice place to walk or ride, easy followed due to wide sidewalk without any sharp drops or grades which help me due to 2 bad knees.
If a challenge is wanted stop at the tourist bureau for camp filler trail, the HHH hotter than hell course for cross country run and mountain biking, the bureau has a map inside of the trail at no charge, not a good trail for a few days after a rain. Take water along it's @5 miles each loop from parking lot, refill water when return to bureau to head the other direction. Bikers be ready to use brakes and feet, separated shoulder on trail to right. switchbacks, shallow water crossings, jumps, bowl drops, bridges, and climbs. To left has same less bridges, turnaround is at TCC Texhoma Cycling Center. Parents this a trail for little ones until you ride it first and decide the walk arounds for them. It took about 4 hours last time I did complete circuit of the trail.
The trails along Lucy park take you to the iconic man-made waterfall that can be seen from the highway. The best part is enjoying the view from the top of the falls.
