This trail is great for the recreational hiker or bicyclist. Very easy wide paths mostly of packed dirt/sand mixture. Trail is easy to navigate and does not offer many trailheads throughout preventing opportunities for getting lost or out longer than desired. This is a trail that I may utilize to introduce my 4 year old to offroad bicycling. There are a handful of areas that begin to show promise of a slightly more challenging trail, yet the trail quickly returns to a flat path. The most difficult part of the trail is marked with a "caution" sign. This time of year its threatening overgrowth. Good fun for the recreational hiker.
Trails are easy for a beginner. You might have to walk up a couple of spots. You can change up directions to get more miles in. Lots of shade on the trails & clean bathrooms.
A great walking/hiking trail with views of a stocked fishing pond and the lake. Compost toilets available. Beautiful view of the lake from a big dock near the parking area.
Very nice and easy trail....very mild elevation changes
Gorgeous place! We went in October to try and catch some of the beautiful fall colors in Texas! Easy short trails!
A pleasant walk all year around.
