Nice drive through the canyon between Palo Duro SP and Caprock SP. But a lot of it is also just open prairie. Both state parks are highly recommended with great camping and hiking options. You can spend a week between the two.

Scenic but only when driving through the canyon. Both state parks in the area have great hikes.

A nice drive on the eastern edge of the caprock. Traffic is usually light, and the road is well maintained.
