Hike up a desert arroyo to a mountain cave. From the trailhead, follow the trail up in a S-SE direction for 0.72 miles to arrive at the cave. There are benches for resting at several scenic overlooks along the trail. This is a good trail for kids and dogs.
My son and I did this trail during the week day so we had the trail all to ourselves. We went behind the caves and picked up a trail that took us to the top of the mountain with beautiful views!
the caves were wonderful, however I only got to see the one to your right because of safety reasons. I'm not physically fit, it took me about an hour to get up there and an about 30 minutes back down. but overall it was a beautiful trail that got me into hiking. I'll definitely come back later!
Took our dogs here and they had such a fun time. The hike is a bit challenging. It's not as easy as it seems but it is a short hike. There's a lot of loose gravel and rocks so make sure your shoes have a great grip and protection. The view is amazing and you can deff take great pictures. Plenty of photo opportunity for sure!
Nice trail, a little more challenging than just easy. All up hill and loose gravel. Great views and the dogs and my 12 year old enjoyed it.
Short but challenging. My 4 year old nephew made it to the top and back down with very few breaks.
Great trail! I have visited it several times, kids love it!! When we get to the cave we invent stories of people that used to lived there, kids enjoy this a lot. Not difficult trail, but walk with care. I'd definitely do it again.
awesome hike loved it very much will definitely go back again
really great hike. great views, pretty moderate hike. difficult in some spots but overall worth it. lots of loose gravel so appropriate shoes are a must. Beautiful trail.
no matter what the guide tells you this trail is not a easy hike
Had a great time with my boys (9, 11 yrs)
great review if you go along the side of the of the cave, up on the top next to the water fall.
Great little hike. There and back in 30 minutes. Smoked me a little on the way up
Went just this past weekend, it was nice I liked it specially going around the cave and up was the best part
Great hike for any family
