Not much to see but it's a great little hike if you have little ones and want to get out of the house. I took my 4 year old son and he had a great time exploring. About 3 miles total, he was able to complete successfully but got tired after mile 2. Will definitely be back again.

This is a nice short trail, good for taking children. This trail is marked very well, better than most. It is about a mile out and back loop. The forest is beautiful. The trail is open and clear for the most part. However, there is some damage to some of the boardwalks on the trail as well as a few standing dead pines due to the die off associated with the drought of 2011. Being that winter is coming to a close this should be taken care of soon. I would definitely go again.
