This place was horribly maintained and everything is overgrown. Not to mention that almost no one observes the "leash your dog" signs. Parking is very limited, so unless you go early, don't bother. The only redeeming quality here is that the trails are well marked. If you want a hike that's worth your time in Austin, check out the River Place Nature Trail.
Beautiful trail with lots of variety and less crowded than most of the nicer trails in Austin. Lots of varied terrain and interesting views along the river. Only wish it was longer. Swimming hole is amazing.
This place was great! Lots of trails to wander around, plenty of geocaches, and good climbing if you want. I'll certainly be back!
