Cibolo Creek Nature Center is a beautiful little known treasure. Well maintained trails wind through the woods in one direction, and through a marsh and City Park in the other. You can easily walk or jog for 3 or 4 miles around the park and along the creek. And a fun nature store with live critters.

This is a really great nature preserve! The trails are easy and kept in a natural manner. I would really love to take my son some time. The center hosts many programs for the community and children to learn about ways to improve the environment. It would be great if the nature preserve in my area took a few notes to heart from the people running this center. If you're in the area this is definitely a must visit!!

Love it!!
Special if you like to take photos!!

Light hiking but really a lot of fun especially if you have smaller ones tagging along! Fall is the best time to hit these trails.

I love running the trails along the creek, through the woods and across the City Park meadows. I only wish there was more mileage to cover! I ran a 5K in November, 2010, that looped around the meadow trail. Dogs are welcome on leash. The creek path has some of the most beautiful scenery in the country.

I love the trail most of it was down by the creek and you had a nice breeze cmonig your way. The trail has a variety of terrain so everyone can enjoy themselves, but there are part that can be difficult for beginners. I would suggest to start with the flattest part until youa re able to keep your footing for the more difficult parts.
