A short trail to a mineral hot spring.

Nice, easy trail tells a story of long ago when things on the boarder were different. Very cool breezes, shaded.

Very easy trail (I did it in sandals) to a hot spring right on the Rio Grande.

Easy fun and relaxing!
The mix of hot and cold water are medicine for your body after several days of hiking at the park

The trail is short and easy, but very hot with little shade in the summer months. Besides the hot spring, there are some older buildings near the entrance that have some history. It may be more crowded, but visiting the area in the Fall or Spring would be much more enjoyable, especially for children. It is much safer to park at the front open lot and walk down to the trailhead, the road is very narrow and it doesn't really take long to get there.

An easy walk from the parking lot to the hot spring along the Rio Grande River. Recommended for fall - spring as this trail can be very hot in the summer months. The road to the parking lot is not recommended for RV's as it is narrow near the end.
