Bachman Lake Trail is a 3.1 mile loop trail located near Dallas, TX that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and road biking and is accessible year-round.
Did a 5k summer running series here a few years back. Not a terribly interesting or challenging course.
Was not very scenic. Parts of it had a sewer odor. But the planes taking off from Love Field right over our heads made it more interesting.
It's an ok place to walk. Very crowded on weekends.
This 3+ mile loop is great for running, but I can't give it more than three stars because the area is just unattractive for the most part. If you want to run for training, I recommend it. If you want nice scenery, skip it and head to White Rock.
