Pinkerton Park Trail is a 1 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Franklin, TN that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, trail running, and birding and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

It is pretty and an easy trail. If you have trouble climbing it may not be easy for you to get to the top...it is also VERY BUSY on a beautiful day. So if a peaceful, quiet walk is what you are searching for I'd save this one for another time (:
It's a easy walk but very crowed and lots of children running around, as this is a active park for families. So if that's what you are looking for then you will love it.
civil War history here alone makes it worth going to.
