Lone Rock Loop is a 1.5 mile loop trail located near Tracy City, Tennessee. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for hiking.
While there is a trail I wouldn't call this hiking. There is a one way road around the lake and there is a shorter trail that hugs the banks. There were some Canadian geese who were very curious about my dogs. For the best parking spot drive around the lake to vicinity of the pin and park down by some stairs that lead to the water. There you can walk all the way around the lake, part of the trail which is a levy between the upper and lower lakes. Something neat about this place are all of the coke ovens which were used in the early 1900s to produce coke from coal to smelt iron ore. While we went in the winter and it wasn't very crowded, it looks like a popular spot in the summer to go swim and fish in the lake. Good spot for children or picnics.
