This easy 1-mile loop is adjacent to a picnic pull-off. It takes you down a hillside scarred with deep gullies formed due to poor land management prior to the park's establishment. Also, there are two steep staircases built into the big gully for further exploring - the stairs nearest to the picnic area need maintenance though so be cautious.
This is a small, short trail. The sign at the entrance said it is 1 mile. We went in winter. It was a nice walk through the woods, but lacks any special scenery.
