well worth the hike. I think its one of the nicest day hikes around the area. I just hiked the trail last week I have pics on my google + if you want to check them out.
Pretty level sandy trail that leads to some lovely stone steps down to the base of this beautiful waterfall that is totally approachable. Plenty of large rocks to perch or rest on, and in my daughter's case play on.
Beautiful waterfall. A must see!
Trail was very easy; slight hills until you get to the waterfall and if you decide to go the base then there is some steep steps to help you down. Go around night fall and watch all of the red spotted newts cross over to the pond near parking.
Fun short easy trail. Great family trail.
Very beautiful! Not very difficult to get to, completely worth it!!
Beautiful Falls! The hike felt like 13 miles, not 1.3. Maybe because of the little ones, but even my husband and I kept thinking we missed something. IT took FOREVER!!!! gravely and rocky but not technical at all, until the climb down into the falls. Wet from recent rainfall, the falls were nice and full. A lovely day turned to night and the stars were amazing.
