Upper Rocky Ridge Trail Via Whitestone Springs Trail is a 5 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Foster Mill, SC that features a river. The trail is rated as moderate and primarily used for hiking and horses. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Upper portion of Rocky Ridge Trail, the trail has a great variety of trees, is moderate due to a few steep grades, they are short and the rest of the trail is easy. White Springs Trail head is on the trail, this .4 mi out and back trail leads to an old building foundation next to the spring. The entire Rocky Ridge Trail (Lower and Upper) start, touches, and ends on Foster Mills Loop, when Foster Mills Loop is included in the hike, the trail which has 2 small loops which can hiked individually, or both loops. When starting the hike from the horse stables, taking the southern trailhead of Foster Mills Loop and back the same way the hike is about 7 mi., this includes White SpringsTrail.
