Sewee Shell Mound is a 0.6 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Awendaw, South Carolina that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round.
Short, pleasant little loop. Not really with the drive out if this is your sole destination, but if you are out there, go for it.

Very short, easy loop thru scrub pine and around a marsh/swamp area to an old prehistoric Indian site. Bird watchers or archaeological/history buffs will probably find it more enjoyable than the average hiker, but plenty enjoyable as a place to take a walk and get some fresh air. I heard lots of gunfire from the nearby Forest Service shooting range so don't expect total solitude.
cool little loop that takes you to Indian ceremony grounds..awesome views on back end..easy hike
