Great short hike for the family. The waterfall is surprisingly beautiful and underrated, maybe because we've had so much rain lately.

Pretty nice little hike. Not too strenuous, even for my out-of-shape body. The falls are pretty, and the water is cool and clear.

Easy hike to the falls, which are worth the view. For those looking for a more challenging hike, to the right of the falls trail there is a 3+ mile uphill trail that leads to Oconee State Park.

The historic buildings and gorgeous waterfall make a visit to Oconee station worth while. Although hikers seeking for challenging trails will be disappointed; the walk to the waterfall from the trail head is well suited for bringing along the kids or for those looking for a less strenuous hike. All in all this makes for a great day trip and you can easily spend hours at the waterfall at the trails end.
