Love this trail great place to get away when you don't have much time and wanna get out in nature for a few.
Nice trail considering it's in town. I hiked the 7 miles roundtrip from the library to Catawba River. The first 1/2 mile is paved and then it is dirt. Tip.. when you cross the road a little pass the lift station, go right and look for the trail a little bit after the fence on the left. I missed this and ended up walking the sidewalk for a while. There is a nice picnic table at the river.
1 star trail, not sure why it's locking me into 4 stars.
Not worth a trip unless you live in the community it winds through. It's the excess green space in-between the houses of a subdivision. Good if you live in the sub-division, but not worth the anything over a 10 minute drive to get there.
Good trail options. Nice scenery
loved the scenery and different options there were parks rivers and trail. you have options for steep alternates too. really enjoyed this. seemed safe and not crowded.
12 miles of trails in excellent shape thanks to the local trail club.
This is a great trail with something for everyone. There are multiple loops that you can piece together for a good 8 mile+ ride. The loop down by the river is super fun. The local trail club does a great job of keeping the trails up.
This is nice is you live in Baxter, but by no means make a special trip here. It follows a creek for about a half mile, and then you need to turn around. If it has rained at all recently it will be very muddy and slick.
