nice, very short trail. not sure you could squeeze a mile out of it no matter how many times u cut off to another trail. bit its nice if you have a dog and are looking for a short walk in the woods
Our family is new to hiking, and chose this trail because it was rated "easy". We all left with cuts and bruises. it wasn't at all maintained, and because of how over grown it was we got so lost our trip turned into "urban hiking" we had to walk through the surrounding neighborhood in order to get back to the car!
This is a neighborhood favorite among dog owners. In the mornings you can expect to see lots of cavorting dogs and owners on the winding pathways. It is well maintained - boy scout projects! And you can't get lost because it is all a big loop. Just the place for a man and his pooch.
