it's a great trail to hike. I only saw maybe 5 people the entire time.
Great trail, very well marked. You have to commit to one trail or the other. Hard at times but very enjoyable.
There's an 8 mile loop. Park at the center... Google maps takes you to the wrong location. Nice hike but a little close to housing/dumping grounds.
My personal favorite trail! Such a scenic view.
Well maintained and well marked. Lots of steep areas with shale.
This was one of the hardest trails I have done. A lot of steep inclines with shale, really need to be cautious. This trail will definitely be a challenge.
Hiking was hard. Went up and down lots of steep inclines that consisted of lots of small pieces of shale!
excellent ride!!! went out for a fathers day ride with my old man, he kicked my a&&,,,, .. up broken-arrow, down half-pipe. over to brians trail and.... KILLDOZER!!! a must must must. for any experienced mountain biker.
What a pleasure, check out the fireman trail!
Good variety of terrain
Awesome loop. Some spots where the trail is easy to lose, but otherwise well marked. Climbs are tough, especially toward the end, but not a very technical run. You can bypass the creek crossing if you exit the trail early onto the road if it's too cold.
Love hiking here. Run into lots of mountain bikers here, but they have always been courteous.
Very well maintained and easy to follow. I'm still getting my legs under me but I found this to be very challenging with lengthy and very steep climbs. The views were nice and the stream crossing was fun to stumble upon at the end of our loop.
Perfect mix of challenging climbs and serene meadows. Crossing the creek is fun. Spectacular birds and wild flowers of all kinds. Some sleepy houses farms and roads, but mostly meadows streams and trails. Perfect day hike.
Very diverse hike, I especially liked crossing the creek that was fun. A day full of adventure is what this trail has in store for you.
Loved all the views on this trail! Absolutely gorgeous and well maintained for the most part (There were a few spots where you are forced to walk through creeks). The map provided at the kiosks was extremely useful and there is a good selection of trails to follow. However, if you plan on following the Trexler Border Trail (red) I would perhaps consult with the Trexler Nature Preserve office first. A detour sign is posted halfway through the trail warning you that the suspension bridge is still not open. It then offers a detour route which leads you to another trail (white) which is not maintained and poorly marked due to overgrowth. Overall it was a great adventure but not for the ill-equipped or the faint of heart...
Love this trail, goes through several diverse settings, from high elevation plains to forests. Quite the adventure and perfect for a day hike. Changes of elevation can be extreme at times, give yourself time to rest. Without a doubt the best hike in lehigh valley
