Torbett Hollow Trail is located near New Germantown, Pennsylvania. The trail is primarily used for hiking.
Actually the Turbett Trail. Good short hike located in the Frank Masland Natural Area of the Tuscarora SF. This trail is only a mile or so long, but can be combined into a fairly long hike by combining with either the Deer Hollow Trail or North Fork Trail, and the Sheriff Trail. I like to do a loop by following the North Fork Trail to the Sheriff Trail. Go right on the Sheriff Trail, which follows Laurel Run, to the Turbett Trail (at the wood footbridge). Follow the Turbett back to the road (uphill). At the top of the hill take , Follow the North Fork back to the road. Take a right down the hill to the parking area. There are also other trials in the immediate area,Sheriff Trail, Boiler Trail, Dividing Waters Trail, Tuscarora, Bill Miller, Ant Hill, so you can make a good weekend of it. To reach the trail head, follow Three Square Hollow Road from Newburg, after crossing the PA Turnpike, bear left and follow the forest road. This takes you to the top of the mountain past a really great lookout. Turn right at the intersection (Cowpens Road), follow to the bottom of the mountain and take a left Laurel Run Road). You are now in the Frank Masland NA. The Turbett Trail is on your right at the top of the hill.
