3 Geocaches in the so-called "Fayette Cong" (6 miles) Geocacher Questmaster has placed three geocaches near the town of Fairchance, PA. For this hike you'll need to visit geocaching.com, read the information on the three caches and program the waypoints into your GPS. The first cache is Scattered Remains (GC331A). The Google link will take you to that info. From there, travel to Polly Takes the Plunge (GC34FB). This is a multi-stage cache that, when you find the cache will have coordinates to Stage Two which is a short distance to the NorthWest. At those second coordinates you will find coordinates for the final stage. Save these for your drive back. Next, travel to Cache Twenty-Two (GCE4BF) and then back to your car. Most of your hike will be on rutted but easy to follow jeep trails with only the occasional bushwack to get to the caches themselves (especially to Cache-22). You may be able to find alternate trails, the track is the route that I took.
