Do not follow the directions in Google maps. Park is on the river side of Route 11 directions take you the opposite side. Very nice walk well-maintained.
I enjoy walking/running this trail. Nice level ground and well maintained. The only thing that is disappointing is all the hooks and fishing waster irresponsible anglers let lay around.
The information center is interactive and neat for kids to explore.
My favorite part of the trail is the wetlands trail. I often see deer and other wild life in this area. They even have a duck blind located in the middle for people to sit and enjoy the water fowl.
Despite what people think, kayaking and row boats are allowed in the lake. Kid friendly.
going to do 2morrow will let u no
The road runs alongside the river, which is beautiful - rapids, waterfalls, a deep pool here and there. I want to go back someday.
