A beautiful walk along a stream in a rhodedendron forest This is a personal favorite, you will walk along a stream through a beautiful forest then towards the end enter some rocky areas. The Hickory Run State Park has a National Natural Landmark in the boulder field and there are some Geocaches in the park
Beautiful winter hike. A bit icy which was tricky at the start, but after that it was a nice stroll through the rhododendrons along the creek. Three dams made for spectacular ice!
very pretty little trail
the trail starts at the office of Hickory Run State Park. great hike. The trail is moderate due to the rocks and roots on the trail
Beautiful very interesting trail, and fun for dogs too! I wouldn't rate it as difficult, but you do need to be sure-footed as it is pretty "bumpy". Not a long trail but the interesting factor makes up for it. I went in September but it must be even more beautiful in June with the Mountain Laurel in bloom.
A lot of fun. Nice waterfalls. Sturdy shoes a really good idea. Fitbit clocked "35 floors". So expect climbing.
Great trail. Not as easy as everyone says. A lot of fun.
Very nice trail, waterfalls and stream hike. Not suitable for kids under 6 or stroller friendly.
Good time, basic nature hike along side a stream
Great hike. Easy to get to the first Dam and a wonderful view. Beyond that could prove a bit difficult for maybe 6 and younger. All terrain footwear highly recommended. Not much traffic there though it was a Monday afternoon. Will be there often and I highly recommend it.
Love it! Great trail for the kids and dogs!
