Relatively flat and easy trail. Clearly marked by both red tree markings and by the path itself (mountain bike track along Sassafras Trail). A couple of very nice vistas overlooking the Kishacoquillas ("Big") Valley. Also a very nice spring. This trail uses parts of Sassafras Trail (up the road from the trail head, signpost on the south side of Kettle Road) and Bigelow Trail. Trail junctions with Sassafras and Bigelow are marked w/stone piles. Excellent vista w/nice slab bench overlooking Big Valley.

I love this trail however it is inaccurately marked as easy. For mountain biking I would rate this as moderate to hard due to the amount of rock gardens and obstacles.
